Author Spotlight: Melanie Robertson-King

This Spotlight has been updated with new information including a sample of the book!

Today's Author Spotlight is Melanie Robertson-King!

Melanie Robertson-King's debut novel, A Shadow in the Past, is a YA/YA Crossover (suitable for readers from thirteen to twenty-five years of age) Time Travel with romantic elements set in Scotland.
When a contemporary teen is transported back in time to the Victorian era, she becomes A Shadow in the Past...
Nineteen year old Sarah Shand finds herself in Victorian Era Aberdeenshire, Scotland and has no idea how she got there. Her last memory is of being at the stone circle on the family farm in the year 2010.
Despite having difficulty coming to terms with her situation, Sarah quickly learns she must keep her true identity a secret. Still, she feels stifled by the Victorians' confining social practices, including arranged marriages between wealthy and influential families, and confronts them head on then suffers the consequences.
When Sarah realizes she has fallen in love with the handsome Laird of Weetshill, she faces an agonizing decision. Does she try to find her way back to 2010 or remain in the past with the man she loves?

Excerpt (from Chapter 3):

When Sarah’s eyes flickered open, the young girl and her wrecked car were nowhere to be seen. Instead of the asphalt surface of Kendonald Road, Sarah lay sprawled out on a narrow gravel lane.

Sarah’s chest felt like the family’s herd of cows sat on it and she gasped for air. Stones gouged her elbows as she tried to prop herself up.

Using her last ounce of strength, Sarah hauled herself to her feet. Her head throbbed as if it were about to explode, and something wet and sticky ran down the back of her neck. Dirt and blood covered her rugby shirt and jeans, and her trainers were gone. Sharp gravel bit into her stocking feet as she staggered, trying not to fall. Sarah was surprised she was able to stand. She was certain the impact with the car had broken her legs and maybe even her back.

She wiped her hands on her shirt and cried out in pain. Dirt and blood covered her palms, and her knees felt like they’d been scraped with sandpaper. Her chest hurt with every breath, and she wondered if her ribs were broken. Where were the terrified driver and her wrecked car? They seemed to have vanished into the mist.

Sarah barely made out a faint light shining in the distance, and she stumbled toward it, thinking it was the yard light near her father’s barn. She clapped her hands over her ears in an attempt to block out the incessant ringing, but it didn’t work. Taking those pills had been a huge mistake. No matter how badly she wanted to hurt Blair and Niamh, she realized that she didn’t want to die. She couldn’t do that to her family.

Sarah blinked and stared at one of the ghostly trees lining the roadway. The trunk expanded and contracted before her eyes as if it were breathing. A gust of wind rasped through the branches and a sudden cry of a long-eared owl made her jump. Shivering, Sarah crossed her arms and rubbed, but pain shot all the way down to her fingertips, forcing her to stop.

At the narrow stone bridge, she stopped and rested. As she stood there trying to catch her breath, the bridge began to vibrate and black smoke filled the air. A shrill whistle pierced the silence, drowning out the ringing in her ears. Sarah wheeled around and gasped. Off in the distance she saw the tiny speck of a headlight. It grew larger and brighter as the train drew closer and thundered beneath the bridge. Sarah watched the disappearing train and tried to understand what she had seen. There was no railway line near her house, only a flat dirt trail leading to the village.

Soon the smell of freshly cut hay, manure, and farm animals replaced the lingering aroma of the train’s oily coal smoke. If the barn was this close, she was almost home. Drawing closer, she heard the sounds of hooves pawing…

Author Spotlight: Tina Gayle #FallingInLove

Today's Author Spotlight is Tina Gayle.  This is the lady that actually got me started on the Blog Tour train.  Thanks for the opportunity to connect with other authors and I hope this helps her gain more exposure.  Be sure to check out all of the links and blurbs.

Mating Rituals - Rules of The Ball #Excerpt

A full length - hot off-world fantasy

Blurb:
With rock-hard fortitude, Marohka Taunton battles to maintain her position as top mineralogist and
refuses to see why she should marry even if the law requires she take a mate. Fighting her attraction for Stihl Fermesium, she struggles to save her father’s company. Stihl, determined to win her as his mate, is faced with the commission deal of a lifetime and needs the money to save his family land. He wrestles with her emotional resistance and discovers someone other than Marohka is unhappy about their union. In fact, they want to separate them in the most basic of ways, death.

“All right, ladies, please line up for the final event of the evening–The Ladies Parade,”

a voice boomed from the speakers. “Give your partner a smile and a curtsy, and then ascend the

stairs to the stage area.”

“Right,” Marohka reasoned, “like I need any man.”

Harold, the father presenter, liked to follow the old habit of bowing to one’s partner. The

custom to him added romance and grandeur to the evening. She could’ve told him differently,

but with him being an old stick from a bygone era and a hopeless romantic, he wouldn’t have

listened.

“Now, gentlemen, here are the rules. Although, you might know them, I’ll restate them

again so no problems will occur because you forgot what you’re supposed to do.” Harold paused

a moment and scanned the crowd. “So listen carefully.”

Marohka and the other girls started up both sides of the twin staircases. Harold stood

at the top of the landing, dressed in his usual green plaid suit. His cheeks colored with his

excitement.

“Each one of these lovely ladies will be carrying a small placard with a number printed

on it.” Harold showed them a sample card. “The number is not how many mates she desires.”

The crowd broke into the expected laughter. Harold grinned.

She wished her sign displayed a zero. Even one man was more than she needed. All

evening, she’d avoided them. If a man approached, she offered him a rude comment and walked

away to prove her lack of interest in catching a mate.

“If you’re attracted to a certain lady and want to meet her in the mating arena, take note

of her number. If you write down the wrong number, you’ll be matched with a different girl,

which would result in an unwelcome surprise.” Harold released a small cough of humor.

“You can choose three women. In the end, however, you’ll only be mated with one.”

A good-natured roar of disappointment exploded from the men in the hall. Marohka

rolled her eyes at the typical male response.

Harold sighed. “Sorry, boys, that’s the rule. The Council of Elders will determine which

girl on your list will become your mate. Then it’s up to you to pass the next challenges. The first

duel is at three sharp in the battling arena. Be sure to check the schedule. If you miss your fight

time, you’ll be out of the running and will have to wait until next year.”

Turning to the girls standing beside him, Harold added. “Ladies, don’t worry. An escort

will be sent to your room to make sure you arrive on time.”

As the oldest unmated girl, Marohka stood at the front of the line. Her future suspended

on the edge of success. She’d led the other girls down the red carpet, along the edge of the dance

floor, through the ballroom, and then back up the twin staircase on the other side of the room

many times. She drew in a deep breath, preparing for her final steps to freedom.

Harold glanced at her and nodded. “At the top of the list from the Taunton family is our

special princess, Marohka. A smart girl, she’ll offer any man a stimulating adventure, where life

will never be boring. She works hard and . . .”

Stepping forward, she cut off Harold’s words by moving off the stage and out of the

spotlight. She detested the Royal Presenter selling her to these men. With her job of finding

qualtrilium and keeping her father’s company afloat, she had all the challenges she needed in

Lustralia’s law might require Royal girls to be present at the charade. But with this being

her final year of mandatory attendance, victory stood in sight. All she had to do was navigate

the man-infested waters between here and the staircase on the other side of the room. Freedom

waited.

She reached the bottom of the staircase. Her path led her past a legion of men. From tall,

dark, and handsome to fair-haired wonders, an array of eligible men lined her route. Dressed in

fine, silk coats and tight fitted pants, they represented hundreds of Royal families across the great

land. All showed excellent breeding and genteel manners. Any one of them would make a good

mate to the girls behind her, but none tempted her to lose her freedom.

Staring straight ahead, she avoided eye contact with every man she passed. Moving

along the edge of the dance floor, she wove her way back and forth across the assigned path. Her

steps, jerky and clumsy, she hid her natural smooth gait. No man, in his right mind, craved an

ungraceful wife. At least, she hoped not.

With the stairs a few steps ahead, she tasted victory and allowed herself a sigh of relief.

“Thank goodness.”

A masculine voice in front of her chuckled. “It’s not over yet, princess.”

Author Spotlight: Andrea R. Cooper

The second author in the fall Spotlight series is Andrea R. Cooper!

Son of Dragons Book 2 Legends of Oblivion series

Blurb: In a time of false peace, the dead rise as soldiers for the Warloc’s scheme. For thousands of years

he has stood ready for the final battle. Though the witch and her cursed Elvin have destroyed his physical

body, now with his protégé, he has honed a new way to wage war.

Shunned by her own people and weary-hearted from centuries of lost loves, Elvin warrior Mirhana scours

the land to silence the undead. Her heart has turned as cold as the sword she wields, until a prince seeks

her aid.

Never has Prince Landon met a woman like Mirhana. Both beautiful and deadly, she haunts his dreams.

The battle at hand becomes more enchanting than fighting to remain true to his unseen betrothed.

When a traitor emerges, new alliances are tested and the only remaining hope is to follow the prophecy

and find the ... Son of Dragons.

Excerpt:

Clean from the bath, Landon let the air from the open window dry his hair. Dressed only in

trousers, he leaned against the windowsill.

He thought he smelled the hint of roses and heat on the breeze. Movement from the

street below caught his eye. He leaned out, squinting into the night.

Torches lined the cobbled street corners. A cloaked figure waited. Then the innkeeper

rushed outside. His hands flew in gestures as the figure nodded.

Then he pointed to the window where Landon watched. At the same instant, the cloaked

figure followed his finger’s path to Landon. Green eyes that seemed to glow met his.

Landon jumped up and cursed when his head hit the bottom of the window. When he

looked back, both figures were gone.

Thinking the innkeeper would send guards, he waited with his sword in hand and his stare

riveted on the door. No one came. He must be getting paranoid, thinking there was a ghost

or enemy around every corner. His eyelids grew heavy as he waited for a fight that failed to

materialize. Finally, he rolled his shoulders back to ease out the tension.

Still, he couldn’t stop thinking about those piercing emerald eyes. They’d belonged to a

woman; he could tell. There was intelligence and cunning in them. Her stare felt as though she

saw through the façade he often wore as prince and to please others, and into his kajh.

A woman who was not afraid, but used to being feared. It unnerved him, yet excited him.

His pulse quickened and his loins tightened at the thought of those eyes filled with passion for

him.

Better get some sleep before the night was gone. Tomorrow, he’d tell Gillespie about what

he saw. He doubted he could explain those captivating green eyes that continued to haunt him

even now.

Reviews:

“We are introduced to new and wonderful creatures, and meet up with those we know and love

from the first book, as each character's unique role and journey begins to intersect... and each

will have a pivotal role in the outcome of an epic battle that is about to take place. Deception,

self discovery, and sacrifices will be made, as each character's true role is uncovered... and

in these magical lands, nothing is at it seems...Still, the book builds on the last with new and

enchanting worlds, exciting creatures, and breathtaking originality. ..A really fun read, and a

complimentary addition to the Legends of Oblivion series!” 4 1/2 stars Moonrise Book Blog

Short BookBub blurb: Romance and breathtaking fantasy collide as

cursed traveler Brock falls in love with imprisoned witch Celeste. She holds

the key to his salvation — but it will come at a price....

The Garnet Dagger Excerpt: Chapter One (condensed)

I’ve known death. For over half a millennia, I escorted many to death at the end of my sword.

In the eyes of the dying, I watched it shroud them. Foolishly, I thought many more eras would

pass before death came for me. It came so swiftly that I could not run; I could not escape. At a

village, dressed in human clothes, I took in everything.

I delayed my return to my people as I watched human jugglers bounce torches and

knifes. It was autumn equinox and the festivities would continue well into the night. Children

laughed as they chased each other. A trail of leaves from their costumes twirled after them. It

was dark when I reached the forest.

A gasp rustled through the trees.

I hiked slower than my normal speed, so as not to startle whatever human called out.

My leather boots crunched upon dried, diseased leaves and bark. Horrified, I glanced up.

Branches twisted around each other to suffocating. Lifeless limbs cracked in the wind. Flesh of

the trees sloughed off in layers, exposing its bones. Gashes hollowed out chunks of warmth.

Fragments of leaves clung to finger tips, marking sepulchers of the dying trees. Trees mourned

with wails like splitting wood, and I brought my hands over my ears. I must flee before I became

infected, they told me. Flee before the stain of this defilement creeps into you, they warned.

Trees spoke to my kind, always had. Yet these trees were in such agony of death that I could

not breathe. Felt as though my lungs had folded in on themselves, like a moth unable to break

loose from its cocoon.

Cursed in Shadow Book 1.5 Legends of Oblivion series

Blurb: Cursed in Shadow is the continuation of The Garnet Dagger, Book 1 Legends

of Oblivion series. This novelette bridges Book 1 and Son of Dragons, Book 2.

After defeating the Warloc, Brock, the Elvin Vampyre, takes Celeste to Tamlon to

search the prophecies of the four and the Son of Dragons. However, the Elvin city is

not safe, even for his witch.

The Warloc’s protégé is bent on his physical return to the living. Her necromancy

brings forth Brock’s first victim and more.

Brock and Celeste must defeat prejudice and power to continue their journey and

find Brock’s twin sister, Mirhana.

Excerpt:

When I rose, the two guards sidestepped away. Nay, they would not gamble their lives again by

being within my reach.

Thankfully, since rescuing Celeste from the oak cave had taken all night, Shadowdancer was

rested for the ride back to Tamlon.

With Celeste’s wounds slathered with yarroway and other healing plants, she mounted. Then

Emillya climbed up behind her.

At least one Elvin besides me did not hate humans. If Emillya didn’t like humans, or Celeste for

that matter, she wouldn’t speak to her much less ride on a horse with her. I ran alongside them

while Celeste and Emillya talked. One guard raced on the opposite side of Shadowdancer, the

other in front. And it appeared the horse gave the Elvin a race.

The Elvin were considerate enough to let Shadowdancer canter or walk whenever he tired.

How they understood that running the horse too long too fast would be the end of him I do not

know. There have never been horses in Elvin lands for as long as I can remember.

We all took turns getting Celeste to talk to us about her cave adventure; she must stay awake

awhile longer, even though we could all see she fought to keep her eyes open.

“As soon as you’ve rested,” Emillya told her, glowering at my constant interruptions to

translate, “you need to view the prophecies of the four. Nivel gave me instructions when he left

with Brock. The library vaults await unchanged. He told me you’d come back after banishing the

Warloc to the underworld.

“Hopefully, Brock hasn’t caused unrealized damage by the oak magic trapping you.”

I nearly stumbled at her words. How was I to know snares waited to spring upon humans in our

land? Our kind was immune.

Just as I opened my mouth to voice my argument, Celeste smiled at me. Her grey eyes held a

glimmer of her merriment, and my frown eased.

With a chuckle, I turned back to the path. Celeste was safe now. And that was all that mattered.

“We’ll make camp at dark.” Emillya patted Shadowdancer’s rump. “Should make Tamlon soon.

It’s a fine horse—any other I fear would take us three or four nights to return.”

“That reminds me.” I said. “How did you get to the labyrinth so soon? The journey from Tamlon

is longer than the time of Celeste’s entrapment.”

“We have a secret path Nivel created. It’s ancient magic and travels Elvin here within an hour.”

“Then let’s take this path back.” Celeste said.

“It’s only for Elvin. The magic would crush a human and perhaps even a horse.”

“Perhaps your magic needs to be altered now.” Celeste smiled.

“Indeed.” Emillya answered. “I’ll mention the request to the elders.”

When we arrived in Tamlon, I hoped to show Celeste the wonders of my land. And bask in the

sun naked with her.

After the others slept, I laid down beside Celeste. She turned and snuggled her head under my

chin. “Your language is so beautiful. Almost like music with its rhythms and melody.”

My hand traced circles up and down her back. “Emir voulan sptrea.”

“What does that mean?”

I eased her chin up and she looked into my eyes. “We are one heart.” I kissed her and relished

in the sweetness of her mouth for we could do little else with company.

Reviews:

“I loved the first book in the series, The Garnet Dagger! Cursed in Shadow is equally spellbinding!

I was awestruck by the world building, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing where the characters would

take us. A fantastic tale, with a charming love story entwined, this is a must read for anyone who

enjoys escaping into a fantasy world where anything can happen!” 5 stars – Moonrise Book Blog

“Andrea did a fantastic job utilizing all the elements that she built into The Garnet Dagger to make this

short do the work of a novella or maybe even a full length book. I’m eagerly anticipating the release of

Sons of Dragons now!” 5 stars – Fantasy is More Fun

Andrea’s Bio: Andrea has always created characters and stories. But it wasn't until she was in

her late twenties that she started writing novels.

What happened that ignited the writing flame in her fingers? Divorced, and disillusioned by love

songs and stories. They exaggerate. She thought. Love and Romance are not like that in the real

world. Then she met her husband and realized, yes love and romance are exactly like the songs

and stories say. She is now a happy wife, and a mom to three kids (two boys and a girl).

Andrea writes paranormal and historical romance. When not writing or reading, one may find

Andrea dancing in Zumba.

She believes in the power of change and counting each moment as a blessing. But most

importantly, she believes in love.

Author Spotlight - Suz deMello

So in case you're wondering, this is the first post in my Author Spotlight! series.  These are authors that are featuring The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes on their blog, so in return, I'm featuring them on The BulletProof Blog.

The genre will mostly be romance/erotica, which as I become more exposed to the world of indy writing, seems to be the majority of indy authorship.  Check out the links, excerpts and blurbs to see if any of these are your cup of tea.  I know for a fact that some of you that read this blog will be all about this.

If you like your toes kinky, Suz deMello has you covered.

Say Hello to Kinky Toes! by Suz deMello (#footfetish #kinkysex @fetlife @MFRW_ORG)

Suzie’s latest is a departure from her usual “sugar” BDSM offerings—it’s straight-out

kinky, being the romance between a foot fetishist and an upscale shoe designer. But Shelbie

and Rick are a match made in some crazy stiletto heaven.

Here’s the blurb:

Genre: contemporary kink romance

Shelbie Nathanson resents Rick Saldano's ascension to C.O.O. of her family's shoe

company, a job she's wanted all her life. But she can't resist his red-hot, sexy style of

lovemaking... one that focuses on her passion: shoes.

And here’s a snippet to pique your interest:

In the cab, Shelbie became even more aware of Rick, if that were possible. He was big. Not fat,

but solid, sizable, with broad shoulders and an obviously muscular body beneath his suit. She

couldn’t help sneaking a peek at his crotch. The suit’s fabric had pulled tight as he sat, tight

enough that she could guess that six-foot-two Rick’s body parts were proportional.

Her mood had definitely changed.

He leaned closer, hesitated the tiniest fraction of a second before he brushed his lips

against her cheek. Shocked, she jerked away, but he didn’t move, his gaze still pinned to hers.

She didn’t move either. The air felt thick, as though the very atmosphere were holding

her in place. They sat staring at each other until the cabbie harrumphed. “Where to, folks?”

After giving the cabbie an address she didn’t recognize, Rick didn’t say anything during

the cab ride. Rigid with a tension she couldn’t define, Shelbie didn’t have a word to say either,

not even when he picked up one of her feet and rested it in his lap, atop his very substantial

hard-on. She wiggled her foot and the stiletto heel slid across the bulge in his pants.

He sighed, so she did it again. Then again. He clamped his lips tight shut, apparently

stifling a groan as his erection swelled even more.

He slid one finger along the exposed arch of her foot. It didn’t feel ticklish, exactly, but

was tingly, the kind of tingle her pussy liked.

He inserted his finger into her toe cleavage. The spot between the big toe and the next

was tiny, smaller than his index finger. His abrupt thrust hurt a little, and Shelbie had a mad

vision of the time when she’d lost her virginity. Her pussy had been too small for the tool her

then-boyfriend had wielded.

She had that same feeling now, an ache as something big intruded into her body’s

smaller space. She tried to pull away but he persisted, twisting his finger until he’d pushed in as

far as her shoe would allow.

He sawed his finger in and out and she bit down on her lower lip to avoid moaning

aloud. She flung her head back, panting as he rotated his finger.

They arrived outside a row of brownstones near the park. He slipped his finger out of

her toe cleavage and gave her foot a squeeze. An awkwardness she hadn’t felt since teenage

sex overcame her as she dropped her feet to the cab’s floor. Rick paid the fare, ushered her out

of the taxi and into the building...his building, she supposed.

The moment they were alone in the elevator, she sprang at him and pressed her lips

against his. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight as his tongue invaded her

mouth. She sucked at him hard, shoving her hands into his hair. He tasted and felt divine.

Her body was aflame, all light and heat, and he picked her up as though she were made

of insubstantial fire, weighing nothing...

What's Jake Listening To?

Until the Blog Tour starts later this week, there isn't a lot going on in BPG land.  We're still on track for Geek Galaxy.  There are several things that need to be done, but they're moving along nicely.  I donated some copies of Prototypes to Boonville's and Evansville's Public Libraries.  Evansville seemed really happy about, but Boonville, though enthusiastic on the phone, just didn't seem to care when I got there.  Well, that's cool, here's your free books?

Anyway, I thought I'd put up a list of songs I've been listening to while writing.  So here we go!

I haven't listened to Seether a lot a lot for years.  I've been familiar with what they've been putting out, but since Disclaimer, which is one of my favorite albums ever, I hadn't felt like I should run out of my house and buy their most current album.  Well until this song, Words as Weapons, I really like this song and will pick up the CD (yeah I still buy those) as soon as I can.

I'm not that familar with Hands like Houses, but I've heard this song here and there over the last several months.   I only looked up the name of the song and band two weeks ago.  The music video is okay, but I've been listening to a lot more of their stuff on Spotify.

Full Disclosure, this is my sister's band, Osiella, their ad is over to the right if you want to check out their EP.  Miss You More is a good song, but the song named after my son, Xander, isn't on YouTube, so this will have to do for the internets.  Now only if I can convince her to put up a BPG ad on here site/blog.  Can't have everything I guess.

Rise Against is fucking awesome.  I've loved them for 6+ years.  Make It Stop is about the epidemic of teen suicide (with a specific focus on gay teens).  There is a huge problem in the Southwest with families kicking their teens out in the streets once they come out.  That's a fucking tragedy.  I guess I know what it's like when a parent's love is conditional like that (won't go into specifics, but a family member said they would kill them self if I was gay, kill them self, wow).  This song is sad and the music video is just as heart breaking.

I love Legend of Zelda.  I was always curious about the series and played the original here and there, but in 2006, I picked up Twilight Princess and was hooked.  I beat Link to the Past and Link between Worlds in the last couple of months and am working on Hyrule Warriors (beat Legend Mode, working on Adventure).  I feel like I need to beat more games in the series, but Wind Waker is my favorite, but in a series like this, it is hard to choose.  Twilight Princess is the first one I beat and Midna's Lament is my favorite tune from any of the games.  If you have ever been curious about the Zelda series, TP is a good starting point.

Modest Mouse is one of the those bands that made up the soundtrack to my college experience.  Jet, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, Tool, The White Stripes, A Perfect Circle, I could go on, but MM is a band that used to be on the radio nonstop while I was driving to USI/ITT.  This is a newer song and it's awesome.  The video is crazy and funny (it's about fisherman).

That's about it for the time being.  I'll be writing a ton next week as I've been busy this week with promotional stuff, so writing in BPG: In Spades has taken a back seat.  I'm done with the first chapter and I'm pretty happy with it.  There's action, character development as well as the ever difficult exposition.  I hope to make it halfway through Chapter 2 next weekend, but with my wife's 10 year reunion and Fall Fest in Eville, we'll see.  I'm more concerned about quality than the speed it's written.

Thanks for the support and pick up Prototypes if you haven't yet.

Book Ninja Review of The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes

So this review was the best yet.  I have had a few more pop up on Amazon.  BPGP was getting 4 stars, but now I've started to get hit with 5 out of 5 star reviews.  Book Ninja's review falls into this category.  Book Ninja is another site that does not put their reviews on their actual site.  They post directly to Amazon, so I'll post the review here.

The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes

Jake dh has written an action-packed sci-fi adventure with an imaginative storyline. Kyle is brought back slowly from a sure death – half human half machine and trained to be a fighter in a war he never enlisted in. His creator has big plans to change the world. Kyle retains his humaneness and may have plans of his own. This story is exceptionally well-written and draws the reader in immediately. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and look forward to the next book in this series.

 Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 Stars

I'm glad I'm getting more positive feedback.  Full disclosure, I did pay to have the review done expediently, but not for content.  They give negative reviews, I'm just glad I wasn't one of them.

I'll be doing a blog tour soon enough, keep an eye on my twitter for more updates on the tour. @Thebproofghost

BPG Swag y'alls!

Updates: I'm not going to do the giveaway until next week.  I'll post the rules as well as a video explaining the whole thing.

I am not doing an IndyGoGo for Geek Galaxy.  I got too ambitious with what I wanted to have made before the campaign and... none of it got made.  So, I guess I need to aim lower, at least for now.

The good news is I've created the designs for some of the swag.  The bad news is I'm not sure how I'm going to pay for the amount I need for the con.  You don't want to hear about that.  So designs!

I've created designs for License Plates:

This first one is for fans of the series.  It's simple and uncluttered.

This is uncomplicated and gives fans of the series something to flaunt.  Jealous?

This next one is for me and my ilk.  This is for advertising purposes.

This has the quote from The Book Sisters review as well as their star rating, the website incorporated into the title and a QR code for scanning.  The QR code leads to the amazon page of instant purchasing, not the website.
I like the advertising one, so I'll have this on sale at Geek Galaxy, but in lesser numbers.  I made these from the image that Covers by AEP created for me.

This is the first t-shirt image.  It's just the comic image with titles added.  It's simple, but I think it'll make a nice shirt.

If you want this on your body, I can help you with that... I mean... no, I'm sticking with that.

This is for the white shirts, but I'll make sure when the black shirts are made, I have a handful of these on hand.  The main black shirt design will just be the textless logo on a black cotton shirt.

I think that image is subtle, but effective.

If you can't make it to Geek Galaxy some of the merch, email me at thebulletproofghost@gmail.com and we'll work something out until I can get a store up and going on the website.

That's all I have at the moment.  I'm going to get some button pins ordered.  My dad has a sublimation machine, so some of this can be done this weekend.  Keep an eye on the instagram (link above) to keep up on all of the pics related to BPG.

Also if you haven't picked up your copy of BPG:Prototypes... well here.  Put up a review as soon as you read it.  I need all of the feedback I can get.  I'm writing the next book in the series, The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades, as I type... that's not right... anyway.  Check out the website as well www.thebulletproofghost.com.  The updates from that blog go straight to the website now.

Thanks for the support and stay tuned.
