The BulletProof Ghost Comic Preorder
First off, if you never got word that I've transported most of my blogging activity over to my WEBSITE, I apologize. There are a LOT of updates over there that I've neglected to post here. So if you would meander over to BulletProofGhost.com and wait a few seconds for the Subscribe button to pop up and enter your email in that box to receive free updates and maybe some free goodies here and there. Also click on the books and merch sections for new tshirts you can buy online and two short stories I published this year you can purchase for the low low price of $.99!
Secondly, I have a new crowdfunding campaign to once again to try... try... try to fund art for a BulletProof Ghost comic book. This time I'm using Indiegogo.com, like when I funded In Spades' novel cover, which went... okay... ish last time. The campaign will run until January 27th, 2019, so there is a lot of time for you to pledge for signed copies of the book, a custom BulletProof Ghost Funko Pop and even being drawn into the comic book itself!
Click here to go straight to the campaign.
Thanks again for the support and please go to the website. I'll try to crosspost here, but I am really busy lately, so it slips my mind.

Finally, A Release Date for The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades
First off, everything regarding the launch of my next book was completely driven by money. Not the money that I was going to make, but the money I didn't have for the various costs for release. Editing, formatting the interior, formatting the exterior, printing costs, merch costs and not to mention having an honest to gawd launch event. Well, since October, I received a couple of bonuses from my job and most of this went to cover these costs. Hooray!
Other than write in my other projects, which I should blog about in the next few weeks, I haven't really accomplished anything to type about. Not a full blown blog post anyway. Check out my Twitter feed @thebproofghost to see all of my tiny updates and various thoughts.
I also would like to give a shout out to the Evansville Local Authors and the Midwestern Writers Guild. I joined these two groups hoping to make much needed connections. I wasn't even sure there was a local author community in Evansville, Indiana, but low and behold, there is. I really didn't care to look before, again, socially different introvert. I was insanely nervous when I went to my first meeting, but I've gone to several since. I even helped run a presentation on copyright law at the Oaklyn Branch of the Vanderburgh Library. I guess I've come a long way since joining the groups.
Thanks to all of the local authors I've met and who have helped me thus far. I'll be sure to write some blog posts where I talk about them individually or one fat post laying out what each author is about before the next joint event.
Sorry that I'm being long winded, there is just a lot to get to before the main event which is the release of the second BulletProof Ghost novel, In Spades.
The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades
will be released on August 19, 2017.
There will be a launch event at Barnes & Noble on Green River Road in Evansville, Indiana. I'll be there from 1:30p - 3:00p selling and signing copies of both The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades and the second edition of the previous book,
The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes.
The Address is 624 S Green River Rd, Evansville, IN 47715
In case you didn't want to Google it.
Boom! Thanks to Barnes and Noble, Evansville for having me. Thank you to Mariana Mudd, that location's Business Development Manager, specifically for saying yes to this event.
I'll put up another post after this detailing other events I'll be at in the next two months. There's a lot going on, so if you want to drop by and get some action packed scifi novels, then that would make you a really cool person. Just saying.
Thanks for the support so far. There's a lot of distance to cover before I'll be satisfied.

After Geek Galaxy and Beyond!
![]() |
| Geek Galaxy has come and gone, but what's next for The BulletProof Ghost? |
If you read this blog or frequent the Twitter feed, you'll know that last weekend, I took The BulletProof Ghost to Geek Galaxy. GG is a local comic convention, which is in its first year. The picture above shows my booth, which had all types of neat swag, including the actual novel, The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes.
The con itself went about how I expected. I didn't sell a ton of books, but I made several solid social connections, some may even lead to other work. One in particular may lead to short stories of mine appearing in a comic anthology. Which is neat.
This was my first convention and therefore a learning experience. I wasn't looking to strike it rich and several people heard about the book that came to the booth.
The next six months will have several developments. First off, the second book, The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades, will be released by then. A free preview for In Spades will be posted here before Christmas, is all goes well. The next week will give me a bit of free time and I really need it.
The other big event will be EvilleCon. This is an anime convention that I've gone to once before, but as a consumer, not an exhibitor. I personally talked to one of the people running EvilleCon (calls himself The Ox King, and he looks the part). He said that there will be several authors there, so hooray!
I may have a store up, but after GG, I may not. The demand for the non-book merch is a little low at the moment, so I'll wait until that picks up before putting in the effort.
Thanks for the support. Be sure to follow me on Twitter for current updates @TheBProofGhost and keep an eye on the website as well. www.TheBulletProofGhost.com. Stay tuned.

BPG Swag y'alls!
Updates: I'm not going to do the giveaway until next week. I'll post the rules as well as a video explaining the whole thing.
I am not doing an IndyGoGo for Geek Galaxy. I got too ambitious with what I wanted to have made before the campaign and... none of it got made. So, I guess I need to aim lower, at least for now.
The good news is I've created the designs for some of the swag. The bad news is I'm not sure how I'm going to pay for the amount I need for the con. You don't want to hear about that. So designs!
I've created designs for License Plates:
This first one is for fans of the series. It's simple and uncluttered.
This next one is for me and my ilk. This is for advertising purposes.

| This is uncomplicated and gives fans of the series something to flaunt. Jealous? |
This next one is for me and my ilk. This is for advertising purposes.
I like the advertising one, so I'll have this on sale at Geek Galaxy, but in lesser numbers. I made these from the image that Covers by AEP created for me.
This is the first t-shirt image. It's just the comic image with titles added. It's simple, but I think it'll make a nice shirt.
![]() |
| If you want this on your body, I can help you with that... I mean... no, I'm sticking with that. |
This is for the white shirts, but I'll make sure when the black shirts are made, I have a handful of these on hand. The main black shirt design will just be the textless logo on a black cotton shirt.
I think that image is subtle, but effective.
If you can't make it to Geek Galaxy some of the merch, email me at thebulletproofghost@gmail.com and we'll work something out until I can get a store up and going on the website.
That's all I have at the moment. I'm going to get some button pins ordered. My dad has a sublimation machine, so some of this can be done this weekend. Keep an eye on the instagram (link above) to keep up on all of the pics related to BPG.
Also if you haven't picked up your copy of BPG:Prototypes... well here. Put up a review as soon as you read it. I need all of the feedback I can get. I'm writing the next book in the series, The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades, as I type... that's not right... anyway. Check out the website as well www.thebulletproofghost.com. The updates from that blog go straight to the website now.
Thanks for the support and stay tuned.

BPG: Prototypes on Smashwords!!
I still haven't fixed the physical version problems, but not from a lack of trying. It's just that CreateSpace is awful. They gave me a template that I followed and it still isn't working for them. I'll not go into it further, but it's frustrating.
The big news is that BPGP is now on Smashwords! This means if you don't have a Kindle app or don't like Kindle, you can get it in a few other formats. I don't recommend the online version, the text is formatted like crap. The PDF version is great, so go with that, just my opinion. The price is now $1.99 at the conclusion of the release sale. Also, 20% of the book is available for FREE on Smashwords. That's a lot more than my preview on blogger.
Things are going okay overall, but I'm not sure what I'm doing as far as marketing goes to be completely honest. I'll treat it like the Twitter account. I couldn't get follows for the life of me six months ago. I hit my stride and figured out a system and now the BPG twitter account is approaching 4,000 follows. Promoting the book isn't any different... well it is, but let's say it isn't in the scheme of things. I have to figure out what works.
I'm working on the second book in the series The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades. The Prologue is done, so yay! It's going pretty well, but I have some more outlining to do.
Thanks for the interest again. Stay tuned.
