The BulletProof Ghost Comic Preorder

First off, if you never got word that I've transported most of my blogging activity over to my WEBSITE, I apologize.  There are a LOT of updates over there that I've neglected to post here.  So if you would meander over to BulletProofGhost.com and wait a few seconds for the Subscribe button to pop up and enter your email in that box to receive free updates and maybe some free goodies here and there.  Also click on the books and merch sections for new tshirts you can buy online and two short stories I published this year you can purchase for the low low price of $.99!

Secondly, I have a new crowdfunding campaign to once again to try... try... try to fund art for a BulletProof Ghost comic book.  This time I'm using Indiegogo.com, like when I funded In Spades' novel cover, which went... okay... ish last time.  The campaign will run until January 27th, 2019, so there is a lot of time for you to pledge for signed copies of the book, a custom BulletProof Ghost Funko Pop and even being drawn into the comic book itself!

Click here to go straight to the campaign.

Thanks again for the support and please go to the website.  I'll try to crosspost here, but I am really busy lately, so it slips my mind.

Pics from 2017 Events Thus Far... link

So, I posted this to my website's new Blog... um... yeah, there are a lot of pictures, so I'll just give you the link.  Sorry for being lazy, but this took a long time to put together being that the pics came from like 6 different sources.  Also my website's home page has information about the last two events I'll be attending this year.  Enjoy.

My new horror series, Dreadful plus a new way to read BPG

It's been a while since I've put up a blog post, but I wanted to make sure I knew for sure what was going to happen with the new outlet.  Thanks for your patience.

The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes is officially on Channillo.  Channillo is a serial literature website where you can post portions of books or start full blown series.  I'm posting BPG: Prototypes while BPG: In Spades is in the process of being edited.  Once Prototypes is posted in its complete form, I'm hoping to be able to post portions of In Spades exclusively on Channillo.

You can start reading The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes on Channillo here.  The service is not free.  You can start out with a $5 a month fee to subscribe to 10 series at a time.  Hopefully you will make BPG one of them.

Now onto my current project.  I recently entered a contest at screencraft.com for their Bootleg Universe event.  This was specifically for already created characters from other franchises.  I went with a short story I wrote about Guyver: The Bioboosted Armor.  This was mostly based off of the 2005 anime series.  I will post the short story in its entirety within the near future.

After I wrote this story, I checked out their other contests.  There was one for original short stories that had a substantial cash prize.  I had a few ideas kicking around, one I named 'Wolves in the Ice'.  WitI is about a woman who was badly hurt by her fiance in New York City and returns to her childhood home in Alaska.  After a traffic accident, she finds herself in the middle of the woods being stalked by a pack of white werewolves.  She runs into a man calling himself a 'wolf tracker' that helps her survive through the night.

After writing the entire short story, I realized that this would make a solid series of stories, as I was already figuring out in my head where the characters would end up next.  So I started on the second story called 'Sister's Keeper' and titled the entire series 'Dreadful'.  That's a working title, but unless you put the word Penny in front of it, no one else is using it as a series title.

Once I've entered the next contest, I'll pitch this new series to Channillo.  For a while, Channillo will be the only place to read Dreadful, period.  I'm not sure how many entries there will be, but I may just create arcs until I can't come up with new ideas; which sounds interesting.

That is all of the updates for the moment.  Keep an eye on my twitter feed @thebproofghost and like my Facebook Page.  I'll try to get these projects out ASAP.  I know I haven't published anything since BPG: Prototypes, but there are a lot of things coming down the pipeline.  I promise.

Later.

End of The Indiegogo Pre-Order Campaign and Big Bang book signing

Jake dh in New York City, right before The Pitch Slam
So, if you came to Big Bang, Comics and Toys on Saturday, thank you.  I knew a couple of people who showed up, so that was nice.  Secondly, I apologize that I was not able to take credit/debit cards due to my Square not working due to registration issues.   I didn't try to set up the account until that morning, so yeah, my bad.  I sold a button pin and a couple of books.  I would have sold more, but... yeah the card thing.

I'm not sure when my next signing event will be, but I'll post here on the blog and various other social media accounts when I know.  I hope to visit some indie bookstores in the coming months.

The next big thing: if you didn't preorder The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades before now, then you can't before its release.  I thought that I could continue to take preorders on Indiegogo after the campaign was over, but I didn't hit my goal, so they shut that shit down.  At least I know now.

The last couple of months have been hard, but that is because I'm actually trying.  I had put my writing on the back shelf last year due to the YouTube channel I was trying to get off of the ground.  I'm putting myself out there now as a writer.  It isn't easy.  I don't get a lot of criticism.  Instead, it's just apathy; a lack of giving a shit.  I try not to be arrogant, which I think makes me a less effective salesman.  I didn't intend to be a salesman when I started writing again.

Here's an example:  I have a person at my job-job who will remain unnamed.  He's on his second reading of the book.  He loves BPG: Prototypes and says he can't wait to read In Spades.  He didn't preorder a copy on the Indiegogo.  He also said on several occasions that he'd put up a review on Amazon.  He hasn't.  I only had one relative give to the campaign.  That is heart breaking.  This is by far the worst crowdfunding campaign I've ever done and the last one was bad.

The only reason I did that campaign was because I had seven people personally tell me at work that they were interested in pledging.  I was ecstatic.  All of those pledges right out of the gate would have given me a solid base to build off of.  It would have given me an aura of legitimacy.  Only one person at work pledged to the campaign.  I suspect that was only because we worked next to each other one day and he could tell the whole situation had me upset.

I'm not upset now.  I'm pushing forward full speed ahead.  I'm not slowing down.  At some point, I will find my audience or I will have a big breakthrough.

Thanks for the support so far.  I'll see you later.

New York Trip, Owensboro Signing, Appearance on Evansville Podcast, New Stories and more!

Wow, there are a lot of updates to get to.  I would have updated the blog last week, but after the New York City trip, I was exhausted.  Honestly, I just needed a day to chill out.  I'm rested (for the most part) and ready to get everyone up to speed.

First and foremost, I was on Evansville Podcast talking about BulletProof Ghost, among other things, but mostly BPG.  You can check out the episode here.  For my first interview, I think it went pretty well, especially considering how little sleep I got.  I also talk about some of the origins of BPG that I may not have touched on in this blog.  I was supposed to be on Owensboro's Own, but scheduling/job-job overtime/lack of sleep prevented me from being on that show.  I'm not sure when/if I will be on now, but I'll post it up on Twitter ( @thebroofghost ) as soon as possible.  You can check out the podcast series here.

Next on the list of updates: I will be at Big Bang Comics and Toys in Owensboro, KY on Saturday, August 27 from 10am until 4pm signing copies of The BulletProof Ghost Prototypes or anything else you want me to sign.  I will have other items like button pins and a limited supply of shirts.  The books will be $9.  Generally, I've learned that events like this don't sell a lot of books, but maybe this will break the mold.

In case you didn't know, I went to New York City to take part in the Writers Digest Conference 2016 (WDC16).  I was specifically there to take place in what is called a Pitch Slam.  I know this sounds like a sex position, but stick with me.  I pitched BPG to 5 literary agents in the span of an hour.  I was flatly rejected by three of them due to the fact the book had already been self published.

An agent said she liked the pitch, but because of the self published status and less than stellar sales, she couldn't give BPG to her publisher, but... and this is a big but, she gave me her card.  She liked the pitch enough that she offered to check out the next book I wrote that was not BPG related.  Okay, I'll take that.

The first agent I talked to wanted to see the book regardless.  I may have failed/forgot to mention that this specific book was self-published.  I made sure to let her know in the email I literally just sent her.  I think that she'll turn it down due to that technicality.  That doesn't make me sad or anything, it just means that BPG is going to be self-published and possibly indie-published for a while if not exclusively.

One of the things I learned at the conference is that I have to market myself as an author more and not just concentrate of The BulletProof Ghost.  This is my baby, but I have to branch out and create new stories if I ever want to do this for a living, which I do.  I will be altering the blog and website a little bit to reflect me as a writer, instead of focusing solely on BPG.  The urls will stay the same, but I'll be altering the graphics and images a bit.

I'm also outlining a new book specifically to send to agents within the year.  I'm going to try my hand at fantasy (or so it will seem).  I'm also writing a few horror short stories that I'll be posting on here for free.  The first story may be up as early as next week, because I've already started writing it.  The short stories will be pretty raw and unedited, but this is a blog, not a published piece.

That's about it.  You'll be getting new short stories for free.  The next BPG novel is more or less finished and in the process of being edited.  And if that wasn't enough, I'll be starting an entirely new novel/series... well next weekend if all goes well.

Thanks for the support and I'll see you later.

Fall Blog Tour and Author Spotlights Come to an End #FallingInLove

So in case you've been wondering if there was a limit to the blog tours as of late... this is it.  At least for now.  I'd like to thank all of the authors that participated.  Hopefully this exposure will help all of us.  Thanks especially to Tina Gayle for setting most of this up and giving me the info to get into contact with the other authors.  I hope to do this again in the near future.

After Geek Galaxy and Beyond!

Geek Galaxy has come and gone, but what's next for The BulletProof Ghost?

If you read this blog or frequent the Twitter feed, you'll know that last weekend, I took The BulletProof Ghost to Geek Galaxy.  GG is a local comic convention, which is in its first year.  The picture above shows my booth, which had all types of neat swag, including the actual novel, The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes.

The con itself went about how I expected.  I didn't sell a ton of books, but I made several solid social connections, some may even lead to other work.  One in particular may lead to short stories of mine appearing in a comic anthology.  Which is neat.

This was my first convention and therefore a learning experience.  I wasn't looking to strike it rich and several people heard about the book that came to the booth.

The next six months will have several developments.  First off, the second book, The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades, will be released by then.  A free preview for In Spades will be posted here before Christmas, is all goes well.  The next week will give me a bit of free time and I really need it.

The other big event will be EvilleCon.  This is an anime convention that I've gone to once before, but as a consumer, not an exhibitor.  I personally talked to one of the people running EvilleCon (calls himself The Ox King, and he looks the part).  He said that there will be several authors there, so hooray!

I may have a store up, but after GG, I may not.  The demand for the non-book merch is a little low at the moment, so I'll wait until that picks up before putting in the effort.

Thanks for the support.  Be sure to follow me on Twitter for current updates @TheBProofGhost and keep an eye on the website as well.  www.TheBulletProofGhost.com.  Stay tuned.

BPG Swag y'alls!

Updates: I'm not going to do the giveaway until next week.  I'll post the rules as well as a video explaining the whole thing.

I am not doing an IndyGoGo for Geek Galaxy.  I got too ambitious with what I wanted to have made before the campaign and... none of it got made.  So, I guess I need to aim lower, at least for now.

The good news is I've created the designs for some of the swag.  The bad news is I'm not sure how I'm going to pay for the amount I need for the con.  You don't want to hear about that.  So designs!

I've created designs for License Plates:

This first one is for fans of the series.  It's simple and uncluttered.

This is uncomplicated and gives fans of the series something to flaunt.  Jealous?

This next one is for me and my ilk.  This is for advertising purposes.

This has the quote from The Book Sisters review as well as their star rating, the website incorporated into the title and a QR code for scanning.  The QR code leads to the amazon page of instant purchasing, not the website.
I like the advertising one, so I'll have this on sale at Geek Galaxy, but in lesser numbers.  I made these from the image that Covers by AEP created for me.

This is the first t-shirt image.  It's just the comic image with titles added.  It's simple, but I think it'll make a nice shirt.

If you want this on your body, I can help you with that... I mean... no, I'm sticking with that.

This is for the white shirts, but I'll make sure when the black shirts are made, I have a handful of these on hand.  The main black shirt design will just be the textless logo on a black cotton shirt.

I think that image is subtle, but effective.

If you can't make it to Geek Galaxy some of the merch, email me at thebulletproofghost@gmail.com and we'll work something out until I can get a store up and going on the website.

That's all I have at the moment.  I'm going to get some button pins ordered.  My dad has a sublimation machine, so some of this can be done this weekend.  Keep an eye on the instagram (link above) to keep up on all of the pics related to BPG.

Also if you haven't picked up your copy of BPG:Prototypes... well here.  Put up a review as soon as you read it.  I need all of the feedback I can get.  I'm writing the next book in the series, The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades, as I type... that's not right... anyway.  Check out the website as well www.thebulletproofghost.com.  The updates from that blog go straight to the website now.

Thanks for the support and stay tuned.

Overdue updates...

So first off, for those of you on twitter patiently waiting on updates, thanks again.  I've been posting the preview every other day, but that's been all there's been to report for the last month or so.

My wife (who is also my editor) and I had our first child, baby Xander, this month, so things have been crazy, hectic and wonderful.

So, back to BPG: Prototypes, there is a bit more edited than just the preview, but it's not quite finished yet.  I'd rather take the time to do it right than rush it.  Sarah (aforementioned editor and wife) made me realize I defiantly needed an editor. The editing has to be done, so when that is finished I'll post here as well as Twitter and Facebook.  Thanks again and hopefully I'll have some more news in the next few weeks.

Preview to The BulletProof Ghost: Prototypes

Prologue
Three and a Half Years Ago

Kyle sat on the cold wet floor of the locker room. He hated this room. All of his inadequacies were laid bare here. At least when compared to the other boys. His height was the worst. He was at least six inches shorter than everyone in his class, whether they were male or female. At 13 most of the girls were beating the boys in height, but with him it was even worse. The nicer girls treated him like he was a child compared to them, like a little brother or cousin. He was the same age as them, but he was never viewed in that way, except by one. The only one that mattered to him right now. The floor wasn't wet from someone who didn't dry off enough from the shower (if at all). The liquid on the floor was thick and red. The locker room floor was wet with his blood.

Kyle looked down and the knife stuck in his stomach reminded him of how he got here. There was a slow but steady steam of blood flowing down his lower body. The stream traveled along the tile and mixed with a water puddle near his feet. The puddle that put him in the dire situation he found himself in. He couldn't think about how he got here anymore. He had been leaning up against the stone bench that connected to the lockers for several minutes. It was clear that no one was coming to help him. The ones responsible for stabbing him had left him to die. They left him to bleed to death alone.

Kyle shook his head trying to focus. His head was getting fuzzy from the loss of blood. He forced himself to a standing position. He thought about pulling the knife out. He wasn't sure if that would increase the bleeding or do more damage than leaving it in. Kyle found it really hard to move with it in. He didn't intend to live through this, not at this point. He knew what was coming was inescapable. Kyle pulled the knife out. Blood starting to run down his shirt and pants even quicker. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt all that much. Was this what going into shock is like, he wondered. If so, he may not be able to walk much longer, but he didn't have that far to go. Kyle put one foot in front of the other.

He needed to see her. As he hobbled out of the locker room, Kyle knew this could be his last chance to say goodbye. Kyle made his way past the wooden doors that connected to a vending machine area outside of the two gyms. The left one is where the girls typically had their classes. Kyle's left foot slid along the floor a little bit. He could see drops and smears of blood down the hall, "Shit... is all of that mine? I don't have much," he coughed up a little blood, "..time left."

Kyle leaned up against the door to the left gym. He used all of his weight to force the heavy door open; or at least it felt heavy to him at this moment. Kyle looked around the gym of long blond, brown and red hair. In this small of a rural, mostly white bred town, Irene wouldn't be hard to spot. He knew her gym class was the period after his. Kyle saw several faces that were like his in tone, pale or reddened from the exercise. Then he saw Irene, dark skinned and full of energy. One of the preppy cheerleaders spotted the bloody Kyle staggering into the gym. She screamed at the top of her lungs. Kyle thought that this was only slightly more negative of a response than he normally got from her. Irene turned to see what 'cheerleader' was screaming about. Kyle smiled slightly, because he knew he had made it. He saw Irene before... then he lost whatever strength he mustered up.

Kyle dropped to the floor and started to convulse. Irene ran to him and bent over him to see how bad the wound was, "Oh no...no no no no."

Kyle couldn't hear what she was saying at this point. His body was shutting down. His vision was cutting in and out, but he knew Irene was holding him in her lap. He thought she shouldn't, because she was going to get her clothes all bloody. He could tell that she was yelling at somebody, maybe the teacher? She was just standing there looking like a store mannequin, but not after Irene yelled at her. The teacher ran off pulling her cell phone out on the way to... where ever. Maybe the nurse's office. Lot of good that would do. Maybe she could get a couple of gauze pads for him or something. Maybe a few for the floor. Kyle chuckled.

Irene looked at him. Kyle's eyes focused right at this moment. Irene's eyes were filled with tears and she was breathing hard, like she was having a panic attack. Kyle squeaked out, "Hey, Irene," he raised his hand up. She grabbed his bloody hand with her bloody hand, "I'm sorry. I didn't want to make... you cry. " Irene said something Kyle couldn't make out, "It's selfish, but I... wanted to see you. One last time... I wanted to be with you when the end came..."

Unsure of what to do until the ambulance came, the other girls surrounded the two without doing anything. The nurse did her best, but Kyle used his last breath to say those words to Irene. She squeezed him tight, tears streaming out of her eyes. She screamed in sorrow. Kyle Richard was dead.

Trials of Prototype 005

Now

1

Cybernetic Prototype 005 blocked the swipe from his enemy's glowing blue blade. The blade that was attached to his left wrist met the attack with a bright energy reaction. The clash of two blades pushed CP 005 back along the ground, leaving ripped up grass and trails where his feet dragged the ground. The Kinetic Energy that emanated from the blades push against each other, but if the blade had hit any part of Five's body, it would slice right through it. This is despite the extremely resilient armor he donned. His enemy's blade jutted out of its elbow. One of two equipped on each arm.

The black eyed man watched the battle from a safe distance. His head moved back and forth, following the path of the fight. He held his hands, as well as his circular tablet, behind his back. The black eyed man patiently awaited the outcome of the conflict.

Synthetic Prototype 003 or a Synth, as Five has already nicknamed it, was a completely artificial being. It wasn't self aware and was only working off of programming. It wasn't really alive.

The room they battled in was called an Enviroom. The walls were silver and metallic with energy conduits running horizontally. The conduits fluxed with white light. The wall had vegetation growing up it for ten or so feet. This particular room was meant to replicate a forest setting. There were trees, grass and small bodies of water strewn throughout.

Five was darting around trees as he moved about. He dodged kinetic blasts that were being shot out of the Synth's palms. One hit a tree, sending wood splinters hurdling across the forest. Five was starting to feel the strain of the ongoing fight. The Synth caught up to him through the simulated forest. It reached for Five, but ended up putting its hand through a tree.

The trials were conditioning Five to kill without granting mercy. He couldn't feel remorse, not that this was a problem in this fight. He had promised to do far worse things if he passed these trials.

Five used his kinetic boosters, that were on the bottoms of his feet. The boosters allowed him to float, soaring above the ground to return his foe's attack in kind. Five swiped with his blade, once, twice and three times, missing in all instances. The agile Synth had dodged his attacks. The Synth swiped up, slicing Five's chest armor as well as the flesh underneath. This resulted in a nasty, bleeding wound.

Five glided backward to get some distance in between him and the Synth. The Synth tried to follow, but retracted his wrist blade while popping an apparatus out of the side of the same arm. The hole emanated an orange glow. Five aimed it at the ground. A ball of light shot out of his Energy blaster. The explosive blast scattered debris in all directions and brought down a nearby tree. The chaos allowed Five to move away from the Synth without being directly followed.

The organic portion of his chest was almost completely healed. He saw it had bled quite a bit, but the nanites in his system that enhanced his healing were working perfectly. His Energy Source was a self perpetuating reaction that powered the tiny machines as well as the rest of his systems. If strained, his repairs would slow or stop. His body could heal moderate organic wounds, but since his synthetic components had no natural healing ability to heighten, only minor damage could be repaired. His armor had to be repaired manually, no matter the circumstance.

Five knew that the Synth had infrared, radar and several other ways of seeing him through the dust, but it would buy him a few seconds. Five aimed his blaster through the debris cloud.

Five saw the Synth's distorted silhouette speeding towards him. Five boosted up into the air, taking full on flight. The Synth had blasters in its palms, both of them. Five dodged blue kinetic blasts as he cut his boosters off completely. He used his stabilizers to push him downward faster, kicking Synth 3 in the face as hard as he could. His foot connected with the side of its 'head'.

Both warriors landed on the ground. Five had fought in two trials before this one. His damage and energy expended was starting to catch up with him. He needed to end this. For all he knew, there was yet another trial after this. He intended to survive this. He wasn't going to die again.

His kick has knocked one of the plates off the side of the Synth's head. The bare side had conduits and circuits exposed to the air. Its singular red eye in the middle of its head was still intact.

The Synth flew at Five and swiped with its elbow blades. It missed once as Five dodged. The second swipe hit Five's organic arm. The third was blocked by his extended wrist blade, keeping him from being decapitated. Five grabbed the other arm to keep it from cutting him from the opposite side. His right arm, the organic one, was weak from the cut, but he held strong.

The two were in a stalemate, neither able to break the others defense. The Synth head butted Five. The attack shattered his right eye lens. Blood was running into Five's white pupil-less eye. A red laser shot out of the Synth's one eye. Five turned his head, expecting this and the beam only grazed his helmet, causing minor searing. The Synth knew that if it landed the shot in Five's ocular implant, the beam would penetrate his brain.

Five saw the beam charging up again. He quickly angled their blades as the beam shot out at its eye. The beam impacted the blades, splitting it into dozens of streams. One went directly back into the eye it came out of. The Synth backed up, confused by the lack of visual data. Five used the opportunity to deliver the final blow, slicing through the Synth's neck. He impaled the head on his depowered blade before it hit the ground.

Five looked over at the black eyed man in the room, "So, Creator William, how did I do?" Five flicked the severed head with his hand, making it spin around on his blade.

William smirked, "Better than the others, Prototype Five," he stopped smirking, "The others failed."

BPG Universe: DiaMetal

This is the fourth entry in the BPG Universe series of posts.  DiaMetal was originally called Invincialloy.  Invincialloy is long, hard to pronounce and not accurate.  It's a name I came up with when I was 14 and never bothered to change, until now.  DiaMetal is not invincible.

DiaMetal:

DiaMetal is the type of alloy/metal that the Biodisian cyborgs and synthetics are made out of.  All of the BulletProof Ghosts armor and synthetic implants are made of DiaMetal (except for his eye lenses).  Creator William's Fortress is reenforced with DiaMetal.  Most of the Envirooms are lined with the substance (more on Envirooms later).

DiaMetal is stronger than steel, but is not indestructible.  There are conventional, non-Biodisian technology that can damage DiaMetal, but only high level military weaponry.  There is no type of conventional bullet that can pierce DiaMetal.  Theoretically DiaMetal bullet propelled with a kinetic Energy burst could punch through a cyber/synth's armor, but William considers bullets to be a savage's weapon.

DiaMetal is created through a process that involves taking a Biodisian metal that is more or less as strong as steel and combining it at the molecular level with diamonds.  The result is a metal that has the hardness of diamonds and steel while ridding itself of diamond's shatter points.  It keeps the flexability of metal.

In, The BulletProof Ghost: In Spades, Kyle recieves his title (as well as the title of the series) due to his DiaMetal armor being impervious to gunfire.  The other half comes from the masking device's effect.

Other ways DiaMetal can be damaged or destroyed:

1. Some conventional weaponry: High powered rockets and explosives (C4) can damage or in some cases, breach DiaMetal.

2. Kinetic Blades: Kinetic Blades can slice through most known matter, including DiaMetal.

3. Pure Energy: Pure Energy (capitalized Energy) atomizes all matter that it comes in tact with.  DiaMetal has some resistance to this, but only compared to conventional metals.  Synth and cybernetic power sources are made out of this Energy.  Energy blasters have the ability to shoot pure Energy, but only one or two small bursts before their blasters malfunction from being slight atomized on the inside.  A fully charge blast may disintegrate the DiaMetal arm attatched to the blaster.

4.  Most high powered Energy blasts:  Explosive and heat blasts can damage DiaMetal if charged to high enough levels.  Only a fully charged kinetic blast can dent DiaMetal armor.

Final draft woes and delayed release...

So, first off, things are moving faster than I thought in one way.  The one way being that Sarah is reading and editing BPG: Prototypes.  The problem is that she is really thorough about how she edits.  This is great for quality.  The story's style is being improved two fold.  I tend to describe things in far to much detail, which makes the story too long and takes the reader out of the story.  She completed 5 out of 91 pages tonight (we're talking full pages, not paperback or even hardback).  I don't think she's going to do this for this long ever single night.

This may end up pushing the release back to March, late March.  This isn't a bad thing.  I've learned a lesson to take each chapter or section and have Sarah edit it, which will stretch the process out, instead of piling it all on her at once.  I'm really happy with how the story is turning out, but frustrated with having to wait for release.  The book will be much better as a result, so I'll be patient, but that typically isn't one of my virtues.

I joked that she was going to bust me down to novelette status, but a lot of the removed content, is really being rearranged for a more concise story.  The action/fight sequences are more focused on the fighting, rather than the thoughts of Kyle/Five.  The thoughts and feelings are still there, but in their own sections.  This increases the tension in the fights.

I've been getting a lot more followers on my social networking sites.  Thanks for the interest and I promise, I'll have a preview out by the weekend.  It just may be another month after that before the full novel is released.  I've been off work the last two days, because of weather, so I've had time to focus on BPG, but normally I have very little time to work on the social networking or editing aspects of BPG.  I tend to beast it on the weekends when everyone else is asleep.

Stay tuned.
