1 FOUR: WILLIAM WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT HIS REAL NAME. HIS REAL NAME IS KINTAXIN. KINTAXIN WAS A PART OF AN ADVANCED SECTION OF THE HUMAN RACE. THAT MUCH WAS TRUE.

Panel 1. A montage of Biodisians killing each other, a bomb going off, an island, and KINTAXIN’S reptilian face is split down the middle with his human face.
1 FOUR: HE CALLED THEM BIODISIANS. BEFORE KINTAXIN WAS BORN OVER EIGHT HUNDRED YEARS AGO, THERE WAS A WAR. THEY LIVED ON AN ISLAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN. THEY WERE ISOLATIONISTS AND HAD NO INTEREST IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD. THEY STAYED ON THEIR ISLAND, BUT A REBEL GROUP WANTED TO LEAVE THE ISLAND. THEY WERE DENIED THE TRANSPORTATION BY THE GOVERNING FORCES OF THE ISLAND.
THIS ESCALATED INTO A CIVIL WAR. THE REBEL GROUP SET OF A ‘BIO-BOMB’ OF SOME SORT. THIS DESTROYED HALF THE ISLAND AND KILLED THREE FOURTHS OF THE POPULATION. KINTAXIN THINKS THAT THEY STOLE THE WEAPON AND DIDN’T KNOW THE DESTRUCTIVE CAPACITY OF IT.
THIS BOMB MADE ALL OF THE INHABITANTS OF BIODISE STERILE. USING GENETIC MANIPULATION AND USING ANIMAL DNA, SPECIFICALLY REPTILIAN DNA, THEY BOOSTED THE REGENERATION RATE THAT CERTAIN REPTILIANS AND CERTAIN INVERTEBRATES HAVE TO RESTORE THEIR REPRODUCTIVE CAPACITY. THIS GAVE THEM A REPTILIAN-LIKE APPEARANCE. WILLIAM’S NORMAL FORM IS A HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTION THAT SURROUNDS HIS BODY.
KINTAXIN WAS BORN AFTER THIS. ONLY FIFTY BIODISIANS WERE ALIVE IN HIS LIFETIME. AGAINST KINTAXIN’S WILL THE ELDERS OF BIODISE DECIDED TO UNITE WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD AROUND THE YEAR 1443. THEY BROUGHT REPRESENTATIVES FROM MANY COUNTRIES TO THE ISLAND. USING THE HOLOGRAMS TO MASK THEIR APPEARANCE, THEY BROUGHT ONE HUNDRED PEOPLE TO THE ISLAND.
UPON SEEING THE TRUE FORMS OF THE BIODISIANS, THE REPRESENTATIVES BECAME AFRAID OF THEM.

1 FOUR: THEY WERE AFRAID. THEY CALLED THE BIODISIANS DEMONS. THERE WERE NO MORE WEAPONS DUE TO THEM BEING OUTLAWED AFTER THE BIO-BOMB INCIDENT. KINTAXIN ARRIVED AS THE LAST TWO BIODISIANS WERE RUNNING FOR THEIR LIVES. KINTAXIN HAD SECRETLY MADE A RIFLE VERSION OF OUR ENERGY BLASTERS.
2 KYLE: THAT’S IT THEN. THAT EXPLAINS IT. HE WANTED US TO AVENGE HIS PEOPLE. TO ENSLAVE OR DESTROY THE REST OF HUMANITY.
Panel 3. KINTAXIN is sitting at his computer station. He is in his reptilian form. His head is slumped down nearly on the console. He looks sad and lost.
FOUR (narration box) KINTAXIN KILLED ALL OF THE REPRESENTATIVES AND DESTROYED THEIR SHIP.
KINTAXIN: I’M SORRY INJAH. I COULDN’T AVENGE THEM. I FAILED.

1 KYLE: THIS… I CAN’T EVEN BELIEVE HE EXPECTED US TO WAGE WAR ON THE WHOLE WORLD.
2 FOUR: IF ONE OF US LED AN ARMY OF SYNTHETIC PROTOTYPES. THAT COULD BE A SIMPLE MATTER. THE SYNTHS AREN’T PARTICULARLY SMART.

2 FOUR: KINTAXIN HAS A SLIGHT TELEPATHIC ABILITY. HE CAN SENSE INTENSE EMOTIONS. THE DAY THAT YOU WERE BEATEN UP OUTSIDE OF THE GROCERY STORE HE NOTICED YOUR ANGER. HE BECAME INTRIGUED. WE HAVE SAFE GUARDS AGAINST THAT IN OUR CURRENT FORMS, EVEN UNDER EMOTIONAL STRESS; THOUGH I WOULD ASK YOUR FRIENDS TO KEEP THEIR EMOTIONS IN CHECK TO KEEP KINTAXIN FROM NOTICING THEM.

1 IRENE: OH… IT’S DARK IN HERE. IS IT HARD FOR YOU TO MAKE US INVISIBLE?
